Visual Impact Study

Visuals Impact Studies or Environmental Impact States (EIS) are written reports that are produced by professional planning consultants. A crucial ingredient to producing such a report is a series of 3D photomontages clearing illustrating the future impact that the proposed development will have on the surrounding and neighbouring environment, landscape and buildings. 3D photomontages are an essential part of any EIS report. Visual Impact Studies and EIS are requested by planning authorities when it is felt that a development may cause a negative impact on its environment. These requests come in the form of Further Information or Additional Information reports. The reports include numerous items to be addressed and the photomontages play a large part of them. Planners will generally have concerns over the impact of the development from certain viewpoints or protected views. 3rd Dimension ensure that a series of high resolution photographs are taken from all requested locations and that photomontages are produced from these viewpoints.
All 3D photomontages are produced at high resolution. 3rd Dimension issue them on CD ROM along with high quality A3 prints of each viewpoint. The A3 prints show the ‘before’ & ‘after’ scenario for each photomontage viewpoint and are included as an entire package in the final report.
