….is in the eye of the beholder!
This image was produced by 3rd Dimension in 2 days! which included high resolution rendering time. It was an extremely quick turn around for such an image. Luckily however we had a lot of artistic licence on the image which does make it easy a lot of the time. The shell of the small gallery was modelled in Cad but everything else was created in 3dsMax and rendered with Vray. The brief involved having an light yet warm space with plenty of natural light. initially we had a much more muted floor finish however from the draft image we changed it to wood which brought the warmth into the image.

Congratulations to Alex Narian of Adam Architecture for winning our FREE 3D Rendering competition.
They can now avail of our services to the tune of €750 on a project of their choice.
We had a huge response to the competition and we would like to say hard luck to all those who entered and did not win. However we will be announcing another competition very shortly so watch this space!

Shop ’til You Drop! New Town Centre
This is one of several 3D renderings and photomontages that were prodcued for a large scale mixed use development in Arklow Town in Co Wicklow. This image in particular was very important for the planning application to illustrate how the proposed plaza would work and to demonstrate the detail within the proposed public space within the scheme. The scheme consists of retail, commercial, hotel and some residential and has been granted planning permission. Our imagery was an integral part of the planning pack. Architects on the scheme are John Fleming Architects who are always a pleasure to work with.
RFP OPPORTUNITY FOR MODEL MAKERS
This is an e-tender notice that we received this morning that will relate to companies who build physical models. It is a RFP for the creation of 4x Architectural Historical Physical Models of Waterford city.
We don’t build physical models so we thought we would share and give some companies the opportunity for some work. The are looking for a business who have specific experience in the historical model making arena.

As They Say – This is Where The Magic Happens!
This is the interior 3D visualisation of the master bedroom within a proposed private luxury residence we recently completed. We worked closely with the interior architects to ensure that the architectural detail and interior design was interpreted accurately. We wanted to get the perfect shot so we modelled part of the adjoining room from which we took the viewpoint from. The image was used for marketing and presentation purposes.
