3D Walkthrough Animations

3D walkthrough is a term used for architectural 3D animation. A 3D walkthrough will bring viewers or potential property buyers on a 3D virtual tour of a property or property development. A 3D walkthrough describes either of the following types of 3D animation.

• 3D exterior animation
• 3D interior animation

Both types of 3D walkthrough involve the complete 3D modelling of the exterior and/or interior of the proposed development. 3D walkthroughs produced and created by 3rd Dimension involve the animation of a number of different camera paths in and around the proposed property development which are edited into one complete 3D movie. Our exterior and interior 3D animations contain 3D moving people, 3D moving vehicles as well as 3D foliage and 3D trees

3D Exterior Animation

Our exterior 3D animations concentrate on the external design of a proposed property development and its corresponding site and landscaping layout. Our 3D animations are mainly produced for property marketing purposes. Depending on the scale of the proposed development the movie animation will last for approximately two to four minutes. We produce our 3D animations in PAL format at 25 frames per second 25fps. We can produce our exterior 3D animations in widescreen format 16:9 or standard format 4:3.

3D Interior Animation

3D interior animations produced by 3rd Dimension allow viewers to take a 3D virtual tour of the inside of a proposed property development. Our interior 3D tours involve the full detailed 3D modelling of the entire room/s or space/s with the inclusion of 3D furniture and 3D people. All 3D interiors are fully populated to add realism to the 3D animation. 3D interior animation projects by 3rd Dimension include residential, commercial and retail property development. All 3D interior spaces are designed in accordance with the interior designers or architects specifications. Our 3D interior animations are produced in 3D studio max, rendered on our high spec render farm and outputted in PAL format at 25fps. They involve the 3D animation of a number of different camera paths throughout the interior space and then editing them together into one complete 3D movie.
