Over the years 3rd Dimension have diversified and expanded their range of services. We have integrated our core 3D services into a host of multimedia content along with developing new concepts and ideas. Invariably new services are born from the requirements of our clients to solve certain problems or because our core 3D services are a strong addition to an existing form of media content.

We have all been there! In a new house trying to decide on floor finishes, the type of fireplace, tiles, bathroom styles etc. We have all caught ourselves putting a tile down on the floor and trying to picture what the rest of the room would be like. Countless hours are spent making a choice and at the end of it you are still not sure if you made the right decision.

The Virtual Decorator addresses this time consuming problem by allowing potential buyers to see exactly what the finishes of each room in a new house will look like. And its can all be carried out through our online 3D Virtual Decorator. Potential buyers have the opportunity to to test different combinations of finishes that are available to them when buying a property. The major advantage of this is, that they can do so from the comfort of their own living room. The Virtual decorator is an online 3D interactive flash application that cuts the guess work out of choosing your finishes, allowing buyers to immediately visualise their different rooms in photorealistic 3D. This in turn dramatically reduces time and cost for the seller. Software used by 3rd Dimension includes AutoCad, 3ds Max Design, VRay, Photoshop and the suite of Adobe products and flash. DIGITAL TV GRAPHICS.

In September 2010 a brand new Health & Lifestyle series was aired on TV3. How Healthy Are You? was a six part series and 3rd Dimension were commissioned by Blind Faith Productions to produce the multimedia content for the show.

The content created involved the design and production of all the graphical content for the series. This included standard items such as strapline banners & greenscreen backgrounds to more challenging content such as the opening and closing sequences. We were also given the task of producing all the sponsorship stings for the series which were 10sec mini advertisements for the sponsors. However one of the most interesting aspects to the project was the animation of the human anatony. These 3D animations were used to help explain certain ailments or disorders of the human body. The project encapsulated everything that defines multimedia from simple text to 3D animation.

DIGITAL VIDEO PRODUCTION.

3rd Dimension work closely with Blind Faith Productions (an independent digital video & tv production company) to produce corporate video presentations that stand out from the crowd. We combine the skills of both companies to offer the full multimedia experience to our clients. From text, audio, still and motion graphics with to film footage and 3D animation, we offer the entire production package.

Clients range from large international cosmetic companies like ORIFLAME, to high profile sports and health bodies such as the IRFU and The Irish Heart foundation. From initial consultation andf pre-production right through to final output, we ensure that our client’s message is clearly portrayed in an informative but attention grabbing manner. Just like a regular movie DVD which conatins a menu of choices from ‘Play Movie’ to ‘Scene Selection’, our Interactive DVD’s are an ideal marketing or learning tool for any business, company or industry.
